Deep Research That Starts From an Outline
Added 2026-08-06Five commands: generate the outline, add items, add fields, investigate in parallel, produce the report. Intermediate results are JSON, and the report is a separate final step, not written as it goes.
The human checkpoint is explicit: once the outline exists you can add items and fields, and only then does parallel investigation start, several agents working entries at once. Four variants ship: English and Chinese, Claude Code and Codex. Install details matter: copy the agent configuration directory separately and install pyyaml. The one most easily missed is that OpenCode needs an environment variable for web search; without it only fetching remains, which the author says weakens the deep phase.
